Representative Henry Cuellar, presently serving in the U.S. Congress for Texas’ 28th district and having replaced Ciro Rodriguez in 2005, utilized his platform on Twitter to discuss his recent congressional activities. Cuellar, who has been a member of Congress since 2005 after previously serving in the Texas House of Representatives, has been engaged in various legislative and social endeavors, which he often shares with the public through social media.

On April 9, 2025, Representative Cuellar tweeted about his meeting with representatives from the Firearm Industry Trade Association. In the tweet, he stated, “I met with representatives from the Firearm Industry Trade Association to discuss legislative priorities and key industry issues.” Cuellar expressed enthusiasm for future collaboration, indicating a strong interest in supporting the trade association’s efforts.

On April 11, 2025, Cuellar tweeted again, this time offering a statement on the SAVE Act.
