Henry Cuellar’s career includes prior service in the Texas House of Representatives from 1987 to 2001 before joining Congress in 2005 after replacing Ciro Rodriguez. Born in Laredo in 1955 and educated at Georgetown University and the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, Cuellar has dedicated much of his life to public service.
