Cuellar, who has represented his district in Congress through multiple election cycles, most recently won re-election in 2024 against Jay Furman with 52.8% of the vote. He has consistently secured victories in prior elections as well, including wins over Cassy Garcia in 2022 and Sandra Whitten in 2020.
