Rep. Henry Cuellar, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 28th district, recently shared insights from his meetings and discussions through a series of tweets on March 5, 2025. Cuellar, who has been serving in Congress since 2005 after replacing Ciro Rodriguez, continues to engage with various stakeholders on key issues.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Cuellar tweeted about his meeting with representatives from Mission Heritage Partners. He highlighted their discussion on restoration work at San Antonio’s missions and emphasized the importance of law enforcement and national parks: “It was a pleasure to meet with representatives from Mission Heritage Partners. We discussed recent restoration work at San Antonio’s missions and the critical importance of our law enforcement. I will always fight for our beautiful national parks.”

Later that day, Cuellar engaged in a virtual conversation with the Comité de 100, focusing on immigration reform: “This afternoon, I had the opportunity to speak virtually with the Comité de 100, a bipartisan coalition of business leaders dedicated to advancing common-sense immigration solutions. We discussed the need for a fairer, more efficient immigration process.”

In another meeting earlier that morning, Cuellar met with members of the Texas Association of Broadcasters including notable figures such as Oscar Rodriguez and Luis Villarreal: “This morning, I met with representatives from the Texas Association of Broadcasters, including President Oscar Rodriguez…”
