He stated, “I was proud to cosponsor the Take It Down Act and I’m pleased to see this critical, bipartisan bill signed into law. I thank my colleagues @SenTedCruz and @RepMariaSalazar for their leadership in getting it across the finish line.” He emphasized that no child should be affected by certain issues regardless of their location.
Henry Cuellar was born in Laredo, Texas in 1955 and continues to reside there. His educational background includes a BA from Georgetown University obtained in 1978 and a JD from the University of Texas at Austin completed in 1981. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the Texas House of Representatives from 1987 to 2001.
