He posted: “This afternoon, I met with representatives from the Southeast Lumber Manufacturers Association, including Chris and Emily deMilliano of the Texas-based company Steely Lumber, to discuss ways to expand opportunities for American lumber producers and workers.

Henry Cuellar has represented Texas’s 28th district through multiple election cycles since at least 2014. In recent elections he secured victories over Jay Furman in 2024 (52.8% to 47.2%), Cassy Garcia in 2022 (56.65% to 43.35%), Sandra Whitten in 2020 (58.3% to 39%), Arthur Thomas in 2018 (84.4% to 15.6%), Zeffen Hardin in 2016 (66.2% to 31.3%), and Will Alkens in 2014 (82.1% to 13.3%).
