Rep. Henry Cuellar, U.S. Congressman from Texas, recently highlighted his legislative and community engagement through a series of social media posts in August 2025.

On August 22, Cuellar announced his involvement in securing funding for international law enforcement efforts: “In the FY26 Commerce, Justice, and Science Appropriations bill, I helped secure no less than $6 million to support INTERPOL Washington’s International Child Sexual Exploitation Database and victim identification efforts worldwide. Henry Cuellar has represented his district through several election cycles. In 2024 he won reelection against Jay Furman with 52.8% of the vote; previous victories include contests against Cassy Garcia in 2022 (56.65%), Sandra Whitten in 2020 (58.3%), Arthur Thomas in 2018 (84.4%), Zeffen Hardin in 2016 (66.2%), and Will Alkens in 2014 (82.1%).
