Rep. Henry Cuellar, U.S. Representative for Texas’s 28th congressional district, highlighted recent developments in Laredo through a series of posts on July 28 and 29, 2025. The tweets covered infrastructure upgrades, public transit expansion, and the opening of a new local business.

The following day, he joined local authorities and transit representatives to mark a milestone for Laredo’s public transportation system. Later that same day, Cuellar visited a new restaurant in the area: “I had a great time visiting the new F&F Japanese Grill location that recently opened here in Laredo. Henry Cuellar has maintained his seat through multiple election cycles since 2014. In his most recent race in 2024, he defeated Jay Furman with 52.8% of the vote to Furman’s 47.2%. Previous elections also saw him winning against various opponents by significant margins.
