Rep. Henry Cuellar, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 28th district since 2005, recently shared several updates on social media highlighting community events and local culture. Born in Laredo, Texas, in 1955, Cuellar has been active in public service for decades and continues to engage with his constituents through various initiatives.

On February 8, 2025, Rep. Cuellar expressed support for local youth programs during the “Let’s Rodeo San Antonio” event. He praised the dedication of young participants involved in caring for their animals, stating that they are a true representation of the heart of rodeo. “Let’s Rodeo San Antonio is in full swing! The dedication, hard work, and passion these kids put into caring for their animals is truly inspiring—they are a true representation of the heart of rodeo.”

The following day, on February 9, 2025, Rep. Cuellar attended the Noche de Cabaret – LULAC Council event. Later on February 9th, Rep. Cuellar shared his dining experience at Cotulla’s BBQ Restaurant in Laredo with his wife. He highlighted the authentic flavors and hometown touch preserved by an original cook at the establishment.“My wife and I had a great meal at Cotulla’s BBQ Restaurant in Laredo.”
