U.S. Representative Henry Cuellar recently highlighted the activities of his outreach coordinators across several Texas counties, focusing on community engagement and health initiatives.
On August 4, 2025, Cuellar posted about an event in Starr County: “My Starr County Outreach Coordinator, Robert Bazan, attended the grand opening of the Starr County Hope & Help Center, a new community resource hub supported by the County and located in Precinct 3 under Commissioner Eleazar Velasquez. The Hope & Help Center will offer a variety”.
Later that day, Cuellar reported on another event involving his staff: “My Outreach Coordinators, Kelly Brooks and Adison Denham, attended the McMullen County Back to School Bash to connect with local families and support the community as the new school year begins. The event allowed Kelly and Adison to engage directly with residents, build stronger”.

Henry Cuellar has maintained a long-standing presence in Congress representing Texas’s 28th district. In recent elections he secured victories over Jay Furman in 2024 with 52.8% of the vote; Cassy Garcia in 2022 with 56.65%; Sandra Whitten in 2020 with 58.3%; Arthur Thomas in 2018 with 84.4%; Zeffen Hardin in 2016 with 66.2%; and Will Alkens in 2014 with 82.1%. These results reflect consistent electoral support throughout his tenure.
