Rep. Henry Cuellar, a longtime Democratic congressman from Texas, posted several updates on his social media account between March 12 and March 13, 2026, highlighting activities in his office and community engagements.

On March 12, Cuellar acknowledged the last day of his intern Serena Klebba at his Washington, D.C. office. He wrote: “Today was my intern Serena Klebba’s last day in my Washington, D.C. office.

A graduate of @ColbyCollege in Waterville, Maine, with a degree in government, she brought great energy, curiosity and a genuine enthusiasm for the legislative process to our team. She shared that her https://t.co/MjmzuPgwnW“.

The previous evening, he shared another post with an attached link: “https://t.co/HLvuXh6H2l”.

On March 13, Cuellar visited a local veterans clinic in Laredo. He stated: “I visited the Laredo @DeptVetAffairs Clinic for a tour and to meet with staff to discuss the services they provide to veterans across our community.

Thirteen years ago, we opened this clinic, and I was proud to help secure funding for both the Laredo clinic and the McAllen VA https://t.co/SYutUNMlZ0“.

Henry Cuellar has maintained his seat through multiple election cycles. In 2024 he won against Jay Furman with 52.8% of the vote; prior victories include defeating Cassy Garcia in 2022 with 56.65%, Sandra Whitten in 2020 with 58.3%, Arthur Thomas in 2018 with 84.4%, Zeffen Hardin in 2016 with 66.2%, and Will Alkens in 2014 with over 82% of votes.
