Rep. Henry Cuellar, a longtime member of Congress from Texas, recently highlighted local engagement and legislative priorities through several social media posts.
On April 6, 2026, Cuellar posted about his office’s involvement in the Pleasanton community: “Last week, my San Antonio Outreach Coordinator, Kelly Brooks, welcomed the brand new Thistle & Twig to Pleasanton and shared information about the services our office offers. Thistle & Twig, an engraving business, brings even more creativity and craftsmanship to our community.”
Later that day, he shared a brief post linking to additional content: “https://t.co/rCtQCH3sKJ”.
Cuellar also noted his participation in a podcast focused on regional issues: “It was great to join @StefyOchoa on the second episode of the newly relaunched Politics con Acento to discuss key issues impacting South Texas and Latino communities across the country. During the conversation, we discussed my work on the Dignity Act and immigration policy”.
Henry Cuellar has maintained a strong electoral presence over recent cycles. In 2024, he defeated Jay Furman with 52.8% of the vote compared to Furman’s 47.2%. He previously won against Cassy Garcia in 2022 (56.65% to 43.35%), Sandra Whitten in 2020 (58.3% to 39%), Arthur Thomas in 2018 (84.4% to 15.6%), Zeffen Hardin in 2016 (66.2% to 31.3%), and Will Alkens in 2014 (82.1% to 13.3%).
