On April 2, 2025, Cuellar shared his recent engagement with representatives from the National Restaurant Association. “Today, I had the pleasure of meeting with representatives from the National Restaurant Association, all of whom are restaurant owners from San Antonio. We discussed the impact of tax policy on the restaurant industry and explored ways to enhance these policies to better support” the industry, Cuellar tweeted.

On April 3, 2025, Cuellar mentioned a visit to Houston, where he connected with members from his district. His update stated, “During my stop in Houston on the way back to TX-28, I had the pleasure of meeting Luis Garcia from Hebbronville. Always great connecting with people from our community!”

Cuellar’s engagement with the community continued with his participation in an event on April 4, 2025. “Last night, I had the profound honor of speaking at ‘The Wall That Heals’ exhibit in Laredo. Standing before the replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, I was reminded of the immense sacrifice made by so many. Meeting the veterans in attendance was a deeply moving experience.”
