As a longstanding public servant, Cuellar has been representing Texas’ 28th district in the U.S. Congress since 2005, having replaced Ciro Rodriguez. His long career includes service in the Texas House of Representatives and significant educational achievements with a BA from Georgetown University and a JD from the University of Texas at Austin.
On April 19, 2025, Rep. Cuellar shared that “My family and I stopped in for a banana split at Marble Slab. Delicious!” The tweet, while casual, offers a personal glimpse into his day-to-day life.
