NatureFresh Farms has expanded its operations with a new distribution center in Laredo.
The distribution center will be a 61,000-square-foot facility that provides a major hub in the area for fresh and healthy produce. Since the opening of the new facility, NatureFresh Farms has hired 30 employees to operate the facility.
“The acquirement of our new center is part of our plans to optimize our distribution network," Laredo Division Manager Sergio Restrepo said. "With this, we are able to further strengthen our logistics and operations, ensuring that we can better meet the needs and expectations of our consumers and customers.”
The expansion is representative of the success that NatureFresh Farms has had in recent years, with sustained growth and commitments for future expansion in Ohio and other areas around the country. There are also future projects in the South Texas area planned for next year.
