CITY OF LAREDO: Utilities and Tax Departments Suspend Extended Hours of Operation at City Hall Annex

City of Laredo issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.

The City of Laredo Utilities and Tax Departments are announcing the suspension of their extended weekly hours and Saturday operations at City Hall Annex. Starting on Monday, December 21, 2020, this service will no longer be available. Normal hours of operation for drive-thru service will resume Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for all payments such as tax, utilities, alarm permits, paving, force cleaning, beer and wine, hotel/motel, water contracts, hazmat, and demolition.

Other payment options available for customers include:

  • Online payments via the city’s website at www.cityoflaredo.com. Credit/debit cards are only accepted for property tax and utility payments. The 3% fee is currently waived for utility payments.
  • Automated phone payments by credit card at 956-721-2032. This only applies for utility accounts. The 3% fee is currently waived for utility payments.
  • Drive-thru utility payment services at City Hall Annex are open until 5:00 p.m. starting on Monday, December 21.
  • Payment night drop at City Hall Annex, 1102 Bob Bullock Loop and City Hall, 1110 Houston Street; checks or money orders only.
  • Mail payments to City of Laredo, P. O. Box 6548, Laredo, Texas 78042; checks or money orders only.
