There were 215 students enrolled in Triumph Public High Schools-Laredo in the 2022-23 school year, 18.1% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50.7% of them were boys, and 49.3% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 99.5% of the Triumph Public High Schools-Laredo total enrollment.

Triumph Public High Schools-Laredo roughly covers schools within Webb County with its main office in Laredo.

Among the two schools in Triumph Public High Schools-Laredo, Triumph Public High Schools-Laredo North recorded the highest enrollment of 125 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
