Rep. Henry Cuellar, currently serving Texas’ 28th district in the U.S. Congress, has been actively communicating updates and initiatives through his social media platform. Born in Laredo, Texas, Cuellar has been a member of Congress since 2005 after replacing Ciro Rodriguez. His recent tweets cover various topics including federal funding for infrastructure projects, honoring fellow legislators, and supporting veterans.

On November 18, Rep. Cuellar announced significant developments for Webb County with the allocation of federal funds for local infrastructure projects. "Big news for Webb County! I’m proud to have helped secure $10 million in federal funding for waterline projects, which will be fully funded by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds." The county has entered into a contract with Mor-Wil LLC to undertake several waterline projects.

The following day on November 19, Rep. Cuellar shared his experience attending an event honoring Chairwoman Kay Granger. He expressed admiration for her leadership and contributions during their time together on the Appropriations Committee. "Today, I had the pleasure of attending the portrait unveiling to honor the remarkable legacy of Chairwoman Kay Granger."

Continuing his advocacy efforts on November 20, Rep. Cuellar highlighted his commitment to supporting veterans in South Texas by ensuring quality benefits programs are maintained effectively. He engaged with Dr. Shereef Elnahal from the Department of Veterans Affairs regarding measures being taken to ensure accuracy within these programs. "I am working hard to support our veterans in South Texas by reinforcing the quality of veterans' benefits programs."
