In one post, Rep. Cuellar announced his role in securing federal funding for the City of La Grulla in Starr County. The city has been selected for NADBank’s Community Assistance Program (CAP) funding, which will provide $750,000 for the rehabilitation of their water plant. "I helped secure federal funding for the City of La Grulla in Starr County, which has been selected for NADBank’s Community Assistance Program (CAP) funding. This funding will provide $750,000 for the critical rehabilitation of their water plant."
Later that day, Rep. Cuellar expressed his enjoyment at attending a Thanksgiving lunch hosted by his brother, Sheriff Martin Cuellar, along with the Webb County Sheriff's Office. He noted the communal spirit and traditional dishes served during the event: "I truly enjoyed the Thanksgiving lunch hosted by my brother, Sheriff Martin Cuellar, and the Webb County Sheriff's Office! It was heartwarming to see the community come together over a delicious feast of turkey, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie."
