Rep. Henry Cuellar, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 28th district since 2005, shared a series of tweets on December 11, 2024, highlighting personal and professional engagements. Cuellar, born in Laredo, Texas in 1955, has a long-standing career in public service and holds degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Texas at Austin.

On December 11, Cuellar tweeted about his wife Imelda's participation in a local Christmas Tamalada event with friends from the AARP Group at the local library. He expressed hope that everyone is enjoying the festive season with loved ones. "This week , my wife, Imelda, enjoyed a Christmas Tamalada with her friends from the local AARP Group at the local library."

Later that day, Cuellar shared another tweet regarding his meeting with Texas A&M Intern Izzy Jacobs, his daughter Christina, and Dustin Bryant from Texas A&M's federal relations team. He extended special thanks to Dustin and Christina for their contributions to inspiring future leaders. "This morning, I had the pleasure of meeting with Texas A&M Intern Izzy Jacobs..."

In another engagement on December 11, Cuellar met with Joe Jones and Javier Patlan from the San Antonio Professional Firefighters Association to discuss the Social Security Fairness Act's impact on firefighters. Cuellar noted his role in helping pass this legislation through the House of Representatives.
