There were nine African American students enrolled in Laredo ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 125% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Laredo ISD schools welcomed 20,932 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, African American students comprised 0% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Laredo ISD roughly covers schools within Webb County and has a main office in Laredo.

Among the 30 schools in Laredo ISD schools, Ryan Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of African American students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of three students.
