Rep. Henry Cuellar, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 28th district, shared updates on his recent engagements and initiatives via social media posts dated February 12, 2025. The posts highlight meetings and funding secured for various programs in his district.

On February 12, 2025, Rep. Cuellar announced that his Legislative Correspondent, Zachary Johnson, met with Temur Nurimov, a student from Pleasanton, TX involved with the U.S. State Department’s Future Leaders Exchange Program. During their meeting, they discussed topics concerning education and foreign policy issues. Cuellar expressed pride in being a strong supporter of education "Today, my Legislative Correspondent, Zachary Johnson, met with Temur Nurimov...".

Later that day, Cuellar noted another meeting involving his Legislative Correspondent with representatives from the Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals. The discussion centered around the role of rural hospitals within the district and healthcare policies affecting Texas "This afternoon, my Legislative Correspondent...".

In a separate announcement on the same date, Rep. Cuellar shared that he had secured $2 million in federal funding for Webb County's Veterans Treatment Program (VTP). This funding is aimed at expanding the Veterans Treatment Court Program over five years to assist veterans dealing with substance abuse issues "I am proud to have secured $2,000,000 in federal funding for Webb County’s Veterans Treatment Program...".
