Rep. Henry Cuellar, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 28th district, shared recent updates through social media. On February 13 and 14, 2025, he made several announcements covering legislative efforts, meetings with key organizations, and personal greetings.

On February 13, Rep. Cuellar introduced new legislation aimed at enhancing border infrastructure. He stated: "Today in Washington, DC, I introduced the Land Port of Entry (LPOE) Modernization Trust Fund Act for the 119th Congress. This vital legislation will establish a trust fund to construct new ports of entry, expand and improve existing ones, procure technology for inspecting and…"

Later that day, Cuellar met with representatives from the Civil Air Patrol to discuss budgetary concerns and border security measures. He noted: "This morning, I met with representatives from the Civil Air Patrol. We discussed matters related to the FY 2026 appropriations process and ways that Congress can best support the Civil Air Patrol with securing our border. I look forward to working with them in the future."

On February 14, Rep. Cuellar extended a personal message celebrating Valentine's Day: "Happy Valentine’s Day from my family to yours! I'm blessed for my amazing wife, Imelda, and our beautiful daughters, Catie and Christina. Thank you, Imelda, for your love, for our family, and for the joy you bring into our lives."
