City of Laredo issued the following announcement on Nov. 9.
The Laredo International Airport is hosting a free virtual business opportunity fair on Monday, November 9, 2020. Local small businesses will learn about the new Airport Property Development and its opportunities for small and disadvantage business enterprises in the construction and concession industry at Laredo International Airport. Attendees will hear presentations from the City of Laredo, the Laredo International Airport, the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC), Texas Department of Transportation, and other prime contractors and design consultants. Special guests present include: the Honorable Congressman Henry Cuellar, Ph.D.; City of Laredo Mayor Pete Saenz; Robert A. Eads, ICMA-CM City Manager for City of Laredo; and Jeffrey J. Miller, AAE, ACE, Director for the Laredo International Airport. During this virtual business opportunity fair, the City of Laredo Airport will announce a new small business incubator program for its multi-year noise mitigation program.
