Laredo Police Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 9.
The Laredo Police Department would like to congratulate Gilberto Benavides on his promotion from investigator to sergeant. Sgt. Benavides now assumes a supervisory role within the ranks of the Laredo Police Department.
