City of Laredo Health Department issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
As COVID-19 surges, a new CDC MMWR outlines a combination of 10 actions that individuals, families, and communities can take to save lives, and speed up community and economic recovery. We all can do our part by wearing masks, staying 6 feet apart from others, and avoiding indoor spaces and crowded outdoor settings.
Communities can put policies in place to increase access to testing, protect health care workers and people at risk for severe illness, and plan for widespread vaccination. Together, we can take actions to have a better tomorrow sooner. bit.ly/MMWR12420.
